Chad is the creative lead guitarist for Chase. He first started playing guitar when
he was 18 years old. Chad has the honor of participating in the very first city noise
ordinance violation here in Port St. Lucie. Has played with the band D. I. L. L. I. G. A. F.
Chad is also accomplished in the art of song composition. Chad first joined up with
vocalist and guitarist Chris Colter while in the band Kickback in Florida.
Chad's Brother Jeff Matthews is also an accomplished musician who has opened
and/or toured with Primus, Sevendust, Stained and 3rd Eye Blind.
